One of the things that tend to happen, at least with me, is whenever I start creating characters I tend to start thinking up the story. So the next few pages I use to write little snippets and ideas. Where does the story take place? What is the conflict/obstacles that the characters will have to go through? How will they overcome them? (or if you're writing angst/tragedy/hurt-comfort, how do they deal with it?) Congratulations, you have just created a plot! I must say that I somewhat agree XD This weekend I bought a new notebook (black-and-white Composition Book, college-ruled) that I was going to use as my Journal. Not unusual for me. However, it turned into something else entirely. See, ever since cell phones started coming with this neat "NOTES" feature I have been happily using that for my story ideas and character profiles and stuff. Well I have gone back to what I normally do- created a Notebook for my ideas.
